I first became interested in the video game industry during my senior year at the University of Arizona, when one of my classes used SimCity to put the real-world concepts we learned in city planning into practice. That experience showed me that gamification would eventually extend far beyond recreation. You cannot prepare people for cyber conflict by asking them to select the correct answer. They must enter the system, confront uncertainty, make decisions, fail safely, adapt, and try again. OVRTEK exists to make that kind of practice accessible, repeatable, and compelling.
